We’re socked in by 14 inches of snow in Ann Arbor. Sun is out and main roads have been cleared, but most schools are closed for a second day and it’s bitter cold. Lots of beautiful things to write about though so hope you’ll step outside wherever you live and soak in some sights and sounds and smells you can then turn to poetry and prose.
Meantime I am preparing to teach Writing About Nature starting Tuesday February 24 at Washtenaw Community College. At that point I will start posting again and sharing resources that my students care about. To find this four-week, non-credit class, just click here. You can always read my Tweets @aboutthelakes in the left column.
I’m also offering Understanding the Great Lakes (starting Thursday February 26) and Islands of the Great Lakes (starting Thursday April 2). These are also four-week, non-credit courses, which means we just learn together and have fun.
