writing in a notebookOne thing I share with students in my Writing About Nature course is the importance of keeping at least one type of journal. I describe personal, field and writing journals as key types for nature writers. Randon Billings Noble‘s article in Brevity beautifully explains her notebooks (that fall into two of my three categories).
